There's a few videos of this floating around; this is probably the best one I've seen. This is Joe Satriani sitting in with Deep Purple on "Smoke On The Water" at the Sleep Train Pavilion in Concord, CA on 6/25/11. Satch and Steve Morse do some great trading off.
I was there, it was a terrific concert!!!! This video is Okay, but in no way can convey the dynamics, strength and overwhelming quality of the music.The sound quality, live, was really excellent for such high volume. You just can't pick that up on a recording like this. I do thank the video shooter for sharing, however,....
