PopMatters has a short-but-sweet review up of Trey Gunn's Modulator. This album features Gunn's composition over Marco Minnemann's 50+ minute Normalizer 2 drum solo. Just got this album today, and so far I'm really digging it. It's definitely more atmospheric than the other albums I've heard that use this same drum solo. Check it out.

Yep i,ve gotten half way thru it , listening in my vehicle. I own a Warr similar to trey,s and I saw him in crimson in 2003 in las vegas,where i live. Interesting,challenging,and I want to get them all before i judge which one is best? Marco how about a cd, not just an mp3 ,please,some of us old folks still like a physical object in our hands okay?
