Just got this in for review. Holy mackerel what a record... addicting tones and playing. Ford and Landau make a great match.
Co-produced by Michael Landau and Gary Novak. Fletcher is one of the tastiest blues players I've heard in some time. Landau plays some great stuff on the album as well.
John McLaughlin and the 4th Dimension - To The One (Review)
Great, raw recording featuring McLaughlin and his 4th Dimension band.
Arnold is a great player that reminds me a bit of Shane Theriot. This disc is in the rock fusion vein, and features Tony Levin, Simon Phillips, Pat Mastelotto, and other heavyweights.
Awesome jazz/jam/funk/whatever, similar to Medeski Martin & Wood. No guitar - but I can't get enough of this album. Features Tim Lefebvre on bass, and Keith Carlock on drums.
I'm really looking forward to Renegade Creation :D
