Spotted this on Guitar Legends: Eric Johnson has just finished a new studio album, and has scheduled 4 Texas shows with his Alien Love Child band. From the official post on Johnson's site:
"Johnson
will now be giving various tracks to three of the top engineers in
contemporary music to mix: George Massenberg, Gary Paczosa and Andy
Johns. “I’ve spent the last year and a half in the studio, and I really
want to get up on stage and do some playing,” says Johnson. After a
recent one-off Alien Love Child show in Dallas, “the band was sounding
better than ever, so I want to keep that going.”
No word yet on a release date for the new disc, but guests will include Sonny Landreth, Jimmy Vaughan, and Steve Miller. See Johnson's site for more details and tour dates.
Good news Rich!!! Keep us updated!

Hmmm.... Three albums in less than 10 years. Got to be a record (no pun intended) for EJ! Is he competing with JB for greatest number of "catch up" albums? ;)

1 album in 5 years, that sounds even worse. Surely there's a middle ground. But, it's 3/10, and you won't see this before 3/11...guaranteed.
