Steve Jobs posts his thoughts on DRM

I thought this warranted a rare tech-related post - Steve Jobs has posted an interesting essay regarding digital music and DRM. He essentially states if the music companies would let them, Apple would sell DRM-free music through the iTunes music store (ie. MP3's and AAC's). Pretty refreshing to hear him say that, but I'm not sure how genuine he is. He says people with iPods (like me) aren't really "locked" into the iPod/iTunes system like they think they are, but let's face it - Apple loves that fact that people think that. Anyway, it's an interesting read.

New Paul Gilbert DVD

Saw this over at Truth In Shredding - Paul Gilbert has released a new instructional DVD. Paul Gilbert - Hollywood Guitar Maniac: Get Out Of My Yard Instructional DVD appears to be a Japanese release only at this point, but it's listed as an all region DVD so it should play on US DVD players.
