Steve Morse has posted a new Notes From The Road message on his website (dated Sept 16th). He talks about having dinner with John McLaughlin in Monoco, the possibility of a Dregs/SMB tour in January, and other interesting stuff.

I liked alot of the "Dixie Dregs" Stuff and what Steve did with KANSAS on the "Power" Album... However that album he did with Deep Purple: "Purpendicular" in my opinion totally sucked...
For the most part it sounded like late 70's - 80's Deep purple with a late 90's Guitar Player... I since have not listened to anything else they have done...
