Looks like the Jeff Richman-produced Mahavishnu tribute CD everyone has been waiting for will be released soon. It's called "Visions of an Inner Mounting Apocalypse - A Tribute in Fusion Guitar", and will be released on the Tone Center label (the jazz/fusion arm of Shrapnel Records), just as the Coltrane tribute CD was. Not sure when it's coming out, but the Shrapnel Records site has the album cover posted with a small write-up, so it can't be too far off.
