Here's a cool old clip of Allan Holdsworth playing his SynthAxe during a rehearsal. What a wild instrument.

After reading a lot of stuff on Allan recently this really is the instrument he should be playing. He'd be a lot happier, and probably even more prolific. We'd reap the benefits of a happier Allan, too. Sadly, that's not the case. It's a real shame that no one has stepped forward and revived the company. I'm sure there are others who would love a go at this.

WOW! Great video. I have never saw Allan playing Pud Wud with the synthaxe with his quartet including Jimmy Johnson, Gary Husband and Steve Hunt. Maybe from 1989.

yes, it's a pitty Allan leave this amazing instrument unused and a shame anybody continued the production in a bigger scale. I recently bought one after a 20 years search........I'm in heaven now!
