FRANK GAMBALE MY BROTHER, i HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOU ABOUT THIS ROLAND VG-99 even though I don't have one or the money to get one but I did learn this sweep picking thing some years ago from your speed picking book...yea, u are absolutly right.I have goten to thye point wher I can play 31 notes up to 45 notes a second and it is impecable with this sweeping technique and also mind boggling to people & even children when they hear it. A month and a half ago I was with some Sia Ba Ba people from India in Mass.and I was finger picking some open tuning on the acoustic guitar and one of the children asked me: can you play fast? I have to admit I was taken by surprise and I said "What did you say?" did you say fast? and the 3 indian children answered yes, so I did and they said: it sounds like a blur.. I laughed..It was funny
