Jimmy Herring 1985 GIT video - Squakin' In The Henhouse

Another YouTube gem: this is Jimmy Herring when he was a student at GIT in 1985. I've heard Jimmy was way into Steve Morse in those days (notice the humbucker-laden tele with the strat neck.) Check out the uploaders page for more.

Hmm, not a whole lot of country tonality here..

Git got the licks but not the mojo.

You too can learn teh basics to get to this level. I've created some fantastic guitar lessons on CD's. Check them on my website: hhtp://www.guitar5day.com.

I am amazed at how much he sounds like Steve Morse...I've only recently gotten in Jimmy Herring, so I'm enjoying it on that level but it is really weird hearing him do the "Morse" thing...anyone know who the other guitarist is?

Sorry I should have mentioned.. the other guitarist is Todd Barth.

Thanks...I actually posted this video on Harmony Central and found out his identity there...really cool video...
